first of all, this is the prequell to the game.
it shows what happened before the game started. so you get some nice background information. the picture is very nice.
the story is intense and thrilling. i liked the characters and how the story develops.
the gore level is suprisingly high ! good entertainment if you ask me.

After first playing Dead Space the game which i thought was brilliant i decided to buy the film not expecting a huge amount but actually was a fairly decent flick properly explaining the events before the game, best to watch this before experiencing the game.

I thought this was quite a good anime film. it had horror, suspense action, lil bit of comedy in parts, its got nothing on Akira, but on a whole its not bad, it has been especially made as a tie in to the, to explain the events leading up to the game.
Its worth the 4 stars i gave it.
